Your colorful explaination was skewed with opinion and inaccuracies coming from a source who is in the busniess to sell their ecu's. That is like asking McDonalds why their burgers are better than Burger King's. McDonalds will say, well our burgers are sear fried while Burger King's are flame broiled. Sear fried makes sure it is all cooked to the center. With flame broiled you have to guess if the burger is cooked all the way because you are timing it on a moving conveyer belt. What if the motor on the conveyer belt was worn out? It would cook the burger at different speed and you could end up with a burger over or under cooked. Sear Fried wins hands down above guessing of the cooking time of flame broiled burgers.
